Whole Body Imaging

Let's take a look

About

What is Full Body Imaging?

Full Body Screening MRI is a powerful imaging tool, scanning the body from head through knees evaluating for any actionable findings, diseases or conditions, and provide a general assessment of structural health.

The ideal patient for this test is typically healthy, without symptoms, and with the goal of preventative health in mind.

Limitations

Limitations.

While Full Body Screening can provide a great deal of information, there are some things that you should know before you book your appointment.

Full Body Screening does substitute or replace: routine general assessments by your doctor, routine or diagnostic bloodwork,  screening mammograms, prostate exams or colonoscopies

If you have had prior imaging requiring follow up, or are currently being investigated for a diagnosed condition such as cancer, Full Body Screening is not the correct test for you.  It will not replace a dedicated CT, MRI, PET scan, Ultrasound, or bloodwork.

Full Body MRI reports try to be as comprehensive as possible, however given the extensive anatomic coverage, number of sequences and images, not every finding may be documented or commented upon, particularly if it is deemed of no clinical significance by the radiologist. The main goal of the report is to document and advise on clinically relevant or actionable findings.

As with all imaging tests, there are inherent limitations to Full Body Screening that prevent detection or identification of all cancers and diseases.

Full Body Screening provides a great snapshot of your current health in the moment and what is accurate for you right now.  It cannot guarantee any future outcomes regarding your well being.
